Swimming for beginners

Swimming beginners

Usually children, but not always. With the ' beginners ' categorization, they are usually understood by swimming newbies, who do not possess a mastery of their body inside the water, where they do not touch the bottom with their feet.

The aim of swimming courses for beginners is therefore to provide the basics of buoyancy and movement in another environment. First of all, it is necessary to become familiar with water and learn to take correct breathing. Usually, out of the water, a bit of stretching is performed to warm the muscles, avoiding cramps in the water.

It starts with staying afloat, and then try to dive and rise to the surface automatically. Taming and overcoming fear is important, as is assessing the feeling of being in contact with water: if you are anxious, agitated, afraid and so on.

At the beginning it is good to stay where you can touch, so as to place your feet on the bottom as soon as you encounter difficulties.

In the swimming pool

The techniques that are taught during beginner swimming courses are freestyle, backstroke and frog. Before going on your own, help yourself with the tablet, which allows you to stay afloat, focusing on repeating the movements that the instructor explains.

Swimming techniques must be learned once you have learned to breathe properly in the water. Often, there are exercises to do underwater, which consist of taking air and going down, emptying and going back up, for a number of times.

If, almost certainly, the beginner wants to learn how to swim in the pool, it is good that he needs tools for swimming : bathrobe, swimming pool slippers, swimming costume, swimming cap and goggles. Plus, everything you need for showering and changing.
