Natural cleansers for the face

A fresh and clean face is not only a good calling card, it is also synonymous with health and self-care. The skin of our face needs to regenerate itself, to be protected now that the cold comes and to be thoroughly purified.

If we give ourselves a mask or a natural peeling once or twice a month, daily cleaning with natural do-it-yourself or commercially available cleaners is just as important to allow the skin to breathe thanks to the use of natural face remedies .

Ecological products, without parabens or surfactants, are essential to ensure a true deep cleansing of the dermis .

Here are some practical tips to follow, including buying guide and DIY cleaning products.

Natural detergents, how to choose them on the market

To choose a good natural detergent, you always start with the label and the composition and you must not be fooled by advertisements or attractive packaging.

Remember that an organic product is not only good for the environment, but is also healthier for your skin. Avoid choosing products based on parabens or silicones, which tend to smooth the skin only superficially, giving a falsely smooth effect, nourishing the obstruction of the pores and favoring the appearance of shiny or dry skin, with pimples and blackheads.

The surfactants that produce a lot of foam, actually attack the skin and the environment, check that your soaps are slightly foaming and naturally perfumed, with essential or basic oils, as in the case of Aleppo soap that is made with various percentages of laurel oil, or Nablus soap, very delicate, made with pure olive oil.

DIY natural cleaners

The best natural detergents include oils. In addition to the famous Indian oil for skin cleansing, based on sweet almond oil, rosemary oil and macadamia oil, there are also olive oil and coconut oil.

The sweet almond oil in particular makes the skin elastic and moisturized, if combined with other ingredients such as shea butter, corn starch or rice, lemon juice, honey becomes an effective natural detergent to use evening and morning

For a do-it-yourself, natural fruit-based cleanser just crush half a ripe banana and mix it with a tablespoon of oatmeal and three finely ground walnut kernels, a teaspoon of fresh yogurt, a teaspoon of honey, three drops of essential oil of lavender. Apply to the skin of the face, massaging gently with circular movements. Remove by rinsing with warm water.
