Cosmetics for the eyes
The eyes and the eye contour are a delicate area of the face that must be treated with care if you do not want to incur inflammations of the eye and skin irritations.
Traditional cosmetics can contain ingredients such as silicones and paraffin, substances that seem to be able to clog pores and limit the physiological activity of the skin: as regards the eye contour, these substances inside eye shadows and concealers can lead to aging premature skin, with the appearance of folds and wrinkles, or the formation of millet grains. In mascara, the addition of silicones can weaken and make lashes fragile.
Cosmetics for natural and eco-organic eyes do not contain either paraffin or silicones and their formulation does not contain irritants that can cause problems to the delicate skin around the eyes or to the eye over time.
Natural mascara and eye-liner
Mascaras are products intended for make-up that are applied to the eyelashes with the function of coloring them and making them appear thicker and longer. On the other hand, eye liners are applied to the eyelids, externally to the eye and thanks to the defined line they make the gaze more intense.
Both mascara for eyelashes and eyeliner are more or less fluid emulsions that contain an aqueous phase and an oil phase.
In mascara and natural eye-liner the aqueous phase is made up of water or hydrolates to which thickeners and glycerine, the latter with a humectant function, are often added. Eye liners generally have larger amounts of liquid than mascaras. The oily phase is made up of vegetable fats (in particular castor oil with a strengthening action as far as mascara is concerned), small percentages of waxes and emulsifiers, the latter to allow fats and water to bind together.
Both mascaras and eye-liners obviously contain one or more mineral pigments capable of coloring eyelashes and skin and in the mascara formulation, active ingredients can be inserted that make eyelashes stronger, such as phytocheratin.
Being emulsions in which water is present, mascaras contain preservatives: for natural ones, preservatives admitted by eco-organic cosmetics are used, considered safe.

Natural eyeshadows for the eyes
Eye shadows can be powder, compact or gel. Powder eye shadows are more suitable for oily and combination skin, while compact and gel ones are more suitable for dry skin and for mature and aged skin.
Natural powder eye shadows contain exclusively mineral pigments appropriately mixed together to give various colors. The compact natural eyeshadows see the addition to mineral pigments, butters and vegetable oils that, in addition to making the product more creamy, have an emollient action on the skin.
Natural eye shadows in gels are instead formulated with water, watery emollients such as glycerine and of course colored pigments. Unlike powder eye shadows and compact eye shadows, gel eye shadows, due to the presence of water, contain preservatives.
Eye shadow primer
The primer is a product that is applied before the eyeshadow to avoid that with the passing of the hours it gets deposited in the folds and wrinkles of the eye contour. Natural primers do not contain silicones, parabens and petrolatums and are formulated with water, vegetable oils and butters and substances capable of absorbing sebum such as silica and starch.
Pencils for the eye contour
The eye contour pencils are applied both outside the eye and inside, on the edge of the eyelid. Coming into contact with the conjunctiva, it is important that the eye pencil does not contain ingredients that can irritate and inflame the eye. Natural eye pencils contain mineral pigments that are compacted thanks to the addition of emollient ingredients, vegetable or animal waxes (beeswax), vegetable oils and butters.
Concealers for eye contour
Eye contour correctors are powder or stick make-up products that are applied before or after the foundation to minimize bags and dark circles. Those best suited to hide the bluish color typical of dark circles that form on the lower eyelid of the eye, are in shades of yellow.
Traditional concealers may contain silicones that appear to be able to clog the pores of the skin, causing accumulations of keratin on the eyelids, known as millet or milio grains.
Natural powder correctors instead contain exclusively mineral pigments that do not clog pores; natural stick concealers, in addition to mineral pigments, contain waxes and humectants to compact products.
