What are guam muds?

Mud guams are made from algae found mainly in the oceans. Guam is an island in the archipelago of the Mariana Islands, in the Pacific, in whose seas these particular algae grow.

Thanks to the strong ocean wind, guam algae lose a large part of the water component, around 80%, becoming practically dry and preserving all their peculiarities. In fact, algae contain vitamins, metals, proteins, fats, glycids, mineral salts (such as chlorine, sulfur, phosphorus, iodine) and important micronutrients, such as beta-carotene and vitamin C.

Properties and use of sludge guam

Thanks to these substances, the sludge guam would be able to give the skin particular conditions of softness, compactness, elasticity, smoothing the skin and compacting the tissues. They would help reduce cellulite blemishes.

Instructions for use - For the application of guam mud it is useful to carefully read the instructions on the box. Generally the product is sprinkled on the affected area, with a gentle massage and wrapping with a layer of kitchen film to let the sludge act at least 45 minutes and finally rinse the skin carefully.

Immediately afterwards it is advisable to apply a gel cream, which integrates the action of the mud, to refresh and tone the area. Guam muds should be applied with a particular frequency, every other day, depending on how indicated. The operation can be repeated for about 6 months.

After the application of the muds guam, it is quite common that the subject feels a sort of tingling combined with redness. In some cases, after several applications, such sensations would tend to decrease in intensity.
