Meaning of the symbology in Feng Shui

One of the main goals of Feng Shui is to balance the 3 energies: Ti Chi - Terra, Ren Chi - Uomo and Tien Chi - Cielo.

While objects with their characteristics such as shape, color, etc. belong and influence the energy of the Earth - Ti Chi, the symbolism of the objects that surround us belongs to the energy of Man or Ren Chi.

The symbolism always has a personal aspect. Objects with their symbolism influence us on the subconscious level, they evoke positive or negative feelings in us. For a Catholic the Cross or the Madonna will certainly have a meaning of protection, prayer, while for a Buddhist this symbol will surely have a different meaning.

Likewise, in Feng Shui various objects have a precise meaning and consequently are used as strengthening elements of the treatments carried out.

Here are some examples:

Money and Fortune

Money toad or Fortune Frog symbolically represents luck and material well-being. If we look at the Toad itself, it is certainly not one of the most beautiful animals to place at home. But the toad figurine in Feng Shui activates and attracts luck. Remember that it is one of the most powerful and most used symbols in Feng Shui.

The other symbols that are used to attract wealth, luck are for example: Gold Ingots, Imperial Coins, Buddha . In the West in the same way they are recognized as a good luck charm and symbols of prosperity: Pomegranate, Grapes, Cone, Ladybug, Horseshoe ...

Would you like to strengthen or attract luck in finances and careers? You can place these objects in the fields of wealth in your home and office. If your desk, office, work station or study are in this area, you are really lucky. The positive effects will be easily accessible.

love

M andarin Ducks, or Mandarin Ducks, in Feng Shui are the number 1 as a symbol, activator and protector of Love, of the couple relationship. If you try to strengthen your Amoroso relationship, place a pair of Mandarin Ducks known for their absolute loyalty to your partner, in the Love sector of your home. Believe us and you will notice their positive effect.

Other objects that represent and strengthen love and the union between two people are 2 hearts in rose quartz, pairs of animals like Elephants, Turtles, which strengthen the health and longevity of the love relationship. Doves, Swans, Dolphins. Important, however, that they are always in pairs!

We can also use flowers, especially peach, if roses are always without thorns. Paintings, paintings with floral motifs are also good.

Health

Turtle and Elephant are the most common symbols in Feng Shui to protect our health. We recognize them as such also in the West. They represent longevity, health, strength and endurance.

In the presence of the Disease Star they help to reduce the negative effects and strengthen our health.

Protection

As in the Feng Shui tradition, there are also animals recognized as our protectors in our culture. Fu Dogs, Rhinoceros, Lion, Tiger, Phoenix are just a few examples. One of the most appreciated in Feng Shui are the Fu Dogs, always positioned at the entrance of our house to give us protection and strong support. In Europe this function is often associated with the statuettes of Lions, Tigers and Guardian Dogs - positioned in front of many entrance gates of the house.

Why all this?

We often find ourselves in difficult situations in our lives. By giving a positive meaning to objects, symbols often give us a little positive support for our actions. We feel safer, more serene, calm in pursuing our goals and facing our lives with confidence.
