Natural creams with urea

Natural creams with urea are moisturizing creams suitable for very dry, damaged, rough and chapped skins .

Let's see what are the properties of natural creams with urea and how to prepare them at home.

Natural creams with urea: when to use them

Urea is a natural compound found in our body because it derives from the catabolism of amino acids.

Urea can be purchased in pharmacies or online, it is a water-soluble powder and can be inserted in moisturizing creams for the face and body, in cleansing products and masks.

Given its hygroscopic properties, urea is used in cosmetics as a humectant and moisturizing agent as it is useful for improving the skin's ability to attract and retain water inside the cells.

Urea is also able to exfoliate the skin, eliminating cuticle and dead cells: in this way the renewal of the epidermis is favored and the skin appears softer, smoother and younger. The exfoliating action also has the advantage of favoring the absorption of the other active ingredients present in the cosmetic.

Thanks to the moisturizing action, the cosmetic use of urea is particularly indicated in people who have very dry, rough and chapped skin as well as in case of wrinkles and dark spots due to skin aging.

Urea creams are very useful for softening particularly rough areas of the skin, including calluses on the hands and feet.

Creams containing urea are also suitable for treating atopic skin, for example in the case of psoriasis or eczema.

The exfoliating properties of urea make this ingredient suitable even in the case of blackheads and blackheads.
