To lighten the skin of the body you can mix turmeric with a mixture of vegetable oils and use the preparation to be massaged on the skin.

This massage oil, in addition to improving the complexion of the skin and accentuating the tan, will soften the epidermis and, if used consistently, will help to counteract the loss of tone and elasticity .

Ingredients

> 30 milliliters of peach oil;

> 20 milliliters of coconut oil;

> half a teaspoon of turmeric powder.

Procedure: mix the two vegetable oils, warming the coconut oil slightly in a bain-marie if it is solid. Add the turmeric powder and stir again.

Pour the mixture into a dark glass bottle and let it sit for twenty-four hours before using it. At the time of use shake well and use a small amount of oil to be massaged all over the body.

Cosmetic uses of turmeric: antioxidant face mask

As already mentioned, turmeric has many properties for the skin and is an excellent natural remedy to combat wrinkles and loss of tone but also to soothe inflammation and irritation: for example, turmeric is able to calm the itching and redness due urticaria.

If you want to try the action of turmeric on the skin you can prepare this simple and effective mask that you can use twice a week to clean the epidermis in depth, soften it and improve its appearance and color or you can use it as a compress on irritations or dermatitis .

Ingredients

> 1 tablespoon of fluid honey;

> 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.

Preparation : mix the turmeric and honey with a teaspoon, until a thick, soft and homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply the mixture on the face excluding the eye area or on the area of ​​the skin to be treated. Leave on for about fifteen minutes then rinse with warm water.
