In fact, dry skin tends to be a delicate skin, more exposed to external agents and therefore more prone to redness and irritation.

Let's see what are the most suitable essential oils for dry skin and how to use them.

Essential oils for dry skin, which to choose

Among the most useful essential oils for dry skin we find the essential oil of chamomile, the essential oil of rose, the essential oil of sandalwood, of hyssop, of patchouli, and the essential oils of geranium, carrot and palmarosa .

To treat dry skin we can choose only one of the just mentioned essential oils or a mixture of two or three essential oils.

Those with dry skin can use essential oils for facial cleansing or to moisturize the skin through masks, creams and ointments; the essential oils are never used pure, therefore to moisturize dry skin it will be necessary to mix them in an oil or in a vegetable butter that will act as a carrier or it will be necessary to disperse them in coconut milk or in aloe gel.
