Dreams "silver" with the gemmoderivato of lime

Gemmotherapy uses lime buds for insomnia, and for its results it is considered the natural tranquilizer par excellence. Like all other buds, it is obtained by maceration in glycerine of fresh buds and in this preparation it is called Tilia Tomentosa, to distinguish it from other lime tree extractions.

The lime tree has the ability to influence the neurovegetative system, the heart and the arterial vascular system, exerting an anxiolytic, antispasmodic and sedative action .

The insomnia disorder and its consequences

Insomnia is one of the main sleep disorders and consists in the inability to sleep the right number of hours (amount that varies from person to person). It can be induced by physiological, environmental, neurological and psychological factors. We distinguish 3 types of insomnia, depending on when it occurs in the sleep cycle:

- Initial : if it is hard to fall asleep

- Central : when sleep is punctuated by continuous or even prolonged awakenings

- Late : if you wake up during the night and you can't sleep again

- Conditioning characterized by the pervasive fear of not being able to sleep; a sort of vicious circle, by virtue of which the fear of not sleeping translates into actual real insomnia caused first by a disturbing event, then by the insinuation of the fear of passing another sleepless night . It is a reflected emotional activation, which leads the subject to fall asleep more easily when he does not force himself to do so, for example when he is in front of the TV.

The cause of insomnia most of the time is stress, anxiety, depression, the abuse of exciting substances, excessive light stimulation caused by computer screens and televisions and the habitual snoring associated with the presence of sleep apnea .

The inability to obtain sufficient and restorative sleep, the quality and quantity necessary for the psychophysical well-being of the individual in turn can cause fatigue, lowering of the pain threshold, fatigue, tachycardia, muscular tensions up to the onset of a physical illness general.

The action of the bud derivative of the lime on insomnia

The gemmoderivato of linden for insomnia turns out to be the natural remedy of choice. Classical phytotherapy has always used it for flavonoids, the coumarins, the essential oils, the mucilage, the tannins and sugars present in the leaves and flowers, which are taken to combat sleep disorders, nervousness and anxiety, because they play a relaxing action on the circulatory system, causing it to lower pressure.

Gemmotherapy, on the other hand, using the buds, the tissues in the growth phase, takes advantage of the properties of the whole plant, that is also those of the active principles contained in the other drugs (the other parts). The Tilia tomentosa in glycerine macerated does not therefore possess only the sedative virtues of flowers and leaves, but also the diuretic and draining action of the sapwood, that is the younger woody part of the trunk, under the bark, where the raw sap flows.

For this reason Tilia tomentosa is successfully used for its hypno-inducing and anxiolytic action on the neurovegetative system, able to improve the quality of sleep, especially when insomnia is caused stress, nervousness, nervous palpitations, hyper-emotionality, and been anxious.

The hypotensive activity performed on the cardiovascular system is effective against arterial hypertension, especially in stressed and nervous subjects,

Finally the antispasmodic property is used as a cure for restless legs syndrome, spastic colitis, newborn colic gas and in the treatment of irritable bowel.

Like all budding derivatives, even lime-based glycerine macerate can be used serenely in children, pregnant and lactating, thanks to its safety and harmlessness . Normally they take 30-50 drops 2-3 times a day, pour in two fingers of water to hold a minute under the tongue and then swallow, on an empty stomach.
