Activated zeolite, the antioxidant supplement

Activated zeolite is a mineral useful for purifying the human body from heavy metals, toxins and free radicals. Used by sportsmen, students and people suffering from stress, zeolite can also be used in cases of acne, itching and dermatitis. Let's find out better.

What is zeolite

Zeolite (from the Greek zein "boil" and lithos "stone") is a mineral of volcanic origin that arises thanks to the alchemic union of incandescent lava and brackish water : fire, earth and water originate a singular stone, with a structure made of tiny microporous particles.

According to some research, it would be thanks to these particles that capture heavy metals - that is to say that they perform a chelating action inside the human body - an excellent natural supplement for the purification and well-being of the organism.

Of the more than 100 types of existing zeolite, it is the clinoptilolite zeolite that is useful to man; this mineral is subjected to tribomechanical activation, that is to a physical or chemical process that allows it to react more easily, thus succeeding in becoming a useful tool for purifying the human body from heavy metals, toxins, free radicals . For this reason it is also considered a good natural antioxidant.

The zeolite works in this way : the charges present in the very small channels are able to bind with toxins and heavy metals; once entered the body, the activated zeolite begins its work in the gastro-intestinal tract, thanks to a chemical reaction. But, as we shall see, it can be used and is also useful externally, for topical and localized use.

What it looks like and for whom zeolite is useful

Zeolite is commercially available, recently in Italy, as a powder supplement, to be dissolved in water, or in tablets or capsules .

It is generally sold online, in well-stocked and well-stocked parapharmacies, pharmacies and herbalist's shops.

Not to be missed : to ensure the correctness of the product on sale, not only the CE mark but also the registration number must be indicated on the packaging.

A 200 gram jar costs from 20 euros; a hundred capsules are paid around 30 euros. It can also be found enriched with dolomite (calcium and magnesium).

This recent release among natural supplements would be useful for athletes, for those who carry out intense physical or mental activity, for those who are stressed or for students.

Adjuvant for a deep purification and detoxification of the body, it is a natural and alkalizing antioxidant, ideal also for convalescents and for elderly people. An ally of fertility, zeolite would also improve physical and mental performance.

Immunostimulant, it is also used to regulate metabolism and digestion and, according to more recent studies, as an antitumor, enhancing the validity of the therapies in place.

External use of zeolite

In addition to the internal use of zeolite, this mineral is also excellent for topical applications in cases of acne, itching, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and other skin disorders.

It is also used as an ingredient in cosmetics and deodorants, as it absorbs perspiration and unpleasant odors, making it ideal for combating excessive sweating of the body (hands, feet, armpits, face).

For topical use, little dust can be used and dabbed on the affected areas with a cotton pad soaked in water, massaging gently. In any case, it is always a good idea to consult a doctor or specialist before taking it .
