The Monari Method, designed by Maddalena Monari, is a technique that works on muscle blocks to remove tension and stiffness. Let's find out better.
Origins and description of the Monari Method
The method comes from a great woman, Maddalena Monari. Rehabilitation therapist in 1973, he graduated in 1980 in Pedagogy. For years he works as a therapist at the USL of Bologna with brain-injured children.
Since 1981 he has applied the Method that bears his name and directs a body therapy center in Bologna, privileging group work from the beginning.
There is also the more specific Monari Punto Vita® method, which includes stretching exercises and muscular work in isometric contraction.
What is the Monari Method for?
Excellent for treating joint pain , back pain, cervical pain, neuralgia . Also indicated in case of rheumatic pain, joint stiffness, circulatory disorders. It acts positively in case of arthrosis, arthritis, headache, herniated disc, scoliosis, arthrosis of the hip, periarthritis of the shoulder.
Improves posture globally. It acts on muscle blocks caused by the absence of emotional heat, lack of affection. Improves all conditions of shortened or rigid muscle chains due to emotional imbalances.
A typical session of the Monari Method
The work takes place mainly on the ground, the spine adheres to the ground, the legs are bent.
Each exercise aims at stretching the muscle chains to decrease lumbar and cervical hyperlordosis, which causes pain in the spine. The work is meticulous and individual, even when the sessions are held in groups. Before starting any work, an objective examination must be carried out with Dr. Monari.
On that occasion a therapy is established with individual treatments and / or stages and / or weekly groups depending on the type of problems. Before any treatment, a photo is taken standing with the feet together in front, behind and on the sides.
At the end of the path the photos are redone to compare them with the first ones and observe the changes in the muscular structure.
Who can operate in Italy
