Matcha tea, a mine of antioxidants

What is Matcha tea

Matcha tea is a green tea reduced to a very thin powder, which must be beaten in hot water with a bamboo whisk to create a light green emulsion that is bright.

This coloring is linked to the method of cultivation, the kabuse, whereby the plant is covered during growth, so as to remain in dim light, thus developing a bright color and a sweet and particular taste.

It is a delicious and much sought after tea, especially for its antioxidant virtues, Matcha is the tea specifically used in the Japanese tea ceremony .

This tea contains first of all a fairly high dose of theine, so it is always good not to abuse it, even if it should be specified that the one contained in green tea acts more mildly on the stomach than that of black tea and its action is milder and constant and balanced throughout the day.

The leaves of the Matcha tea are harvested, directly ground and reduced to powder, without going through other processing steps. This makes them even more rich in antioxidants, polyphenols, calcium, potassium, chlorophyll, proteins and vitamins (A, C and above all beta-carotene) .

Remineralizing and purifying, Matcha tea is a millennial beverage with extraordinary purifying, toning and invigorating and remineralizing virtues.

Matcha tea for weight loss
