The Holopercective Massage: what inspires you?

The initial observation

It is in fetal life that we receive the first tactile stimulations of our life.

As soon as the sensitive terminations of touch are sufficiently developed to be able to transmit sensory stimuli to a computer center (brain) that has also acquired sufficient maturity to interpret them, the uterine environment immediately reveals itself as a source of tactile stimuli.

The omnipresence of the amniotic fluid to wrap the fetal body surface uniformly is a stimulus so generalized and light that the fetus probably tends to get used to it, feeling it only when it moves as happens for clothes worn on the skin.

Significantly more marked tactile stimulations arise rather from the contact of different parts of the body between them, or with the mucous membrane of the uterus that defines the fetal environment. Since they are initially discontinuous and occasional contacts, they interrupt the state of quiet rest and are almost certainly felt and recognized by the fetus with greater sensitivity.

In the last trimester of pregnancy, however, the uterine environment becomes increasingly narrow and adherent, so that the evolution of fetal tactile sensitivity is accompanied by progressively more extensive and generalized adaptation with the elastic, soft and satiny surface of the internal mucosa of the uterus, which therefore becomes a second 'dress'.

This last phase of intrauterine life should be for the fetus the most 'boring' from a tactile point of view: its dimensions in relation to the uterus that contains it have grown to such a point that he is almost completely impeded in the movements ie his opportunities to experiment with new tactile sensations have become increasingly rare.

On the other hand, a pleasant surprise awaits you at this time: the environment that surrounds it, almost static up to this moment, suddenly becomes alive and breaks its state of quiet sensibility vigorously.

They are the uterine contractions of preparation for childbirth : a pleasant sensation of global embrace and the first holistic massage in the existence of the human being .

It has been observed that when the wave of contraction is felt, the fetus stretches the back, completely attached to the massaging wall of the maternal uterus, and pushes with the feet as if to intensify the gratifying effect it is feeling.

Thinking of this image, it is natural to find correspondence in the contortions to which we spontaneously abandon ourselves to increase the pleasure of a "scratching" in this part of the body that remains so sensitive for life.

From observation to manual interpretation

Conceived drawing its main inspiration precisely from the sensorial and holistic experiences of the fetal life just described, the Holopercective Massage turns to the skin of the psychosome, at any age from the neonatal age onwards, to arouse the memory of the uterine massage of the last trimester of pregnancy .

The Olopercective Massage is a relaxing, regenerating and anti-stress treatment par excellence. Its effectiveness in harmonizing the psychosome and shaping the body figure, enhanced by a centripetal draining effect, also makes it unparalleled in the treatment of water retention and ' cellulite ' when they prove to be irreducible due to psychosomatic etiological components.

Nevertheless, the peculiarities of the touch and of the holistic approach that characterize it can subtly interact also with some psychological and bioenergetic factors that are the basis of many psychosome illnesses (eg: anxiety, emotional tensions, adolescent and emotional discomfort, disorders of the sexual sphere, chronic headaches not secondary to pathological states, muscular armor originated by emotional tensions and the retention of aggressive impulses, disharmony between the upper and lower part of the body as happens particularly in adolescence and following pregnancy, disorders related to the menstrual cycle, anorexia, bulimia, etc.).

In these cases the Olopercective Massage can constitute an alternative resource especially in the case in which the classic treatments, aiming only to correct the evident sign / symptom, fail to produce sufficient improvements.

Being a Gestalt-based treatment method, the holistic consideration of the human being by those who apply the treatment is definitely a priority, and the process leading to the development of this attitude obviously transcends any theoretical preparation or professional qualification.

In the transition from theory to practice, the substantial difference between the Holopercective Massage and the massage techniques based on more strictly rational and scientific models is that it becomes hopelessly unproductive to pretend to modulate the action according to rigidly arranged schemes, ostentatiously showing them as magical passepartouts psychosomatic, as well as it is not permissible to divert attention from the person of whom one is taking care to direct it towards complex technical notions that should determine the modalities of the intervention.

In the Holopercective Massage it is more than ever essential that everything that guides the hands on the skin of the psychosome has already been acquired, internalized and personalized much earlier, so that they can flow smoothly and safely without continuous solution.

Only in this way can they " make themselves uterus " and dress the psychosome globally, stimulating the reminiscence of the global sensations experienced in the fetal age and in particular of that original massage of which the child who continues to exist in every man and woman at any age keeps the memory indelible on your skin.

The indispensable precautions to guide the hands of those massaging towards the ambitious goal of manually reinterpreting the uterine massage, taught to each student during the Training Courses in Holoperceptive Massage, essentially consist of two complementary techniques that radically influence the execution of the manual.

We are used to considering laughter as a natural reaction to something comical but the comedy is not the same for everyone: the jokes about the carabinieri do not make the carabinieri so much laughing, to some people the clowns are scary and others still feel a great sense of pity when someone slips on banana peels...
