A powerful remedy against mosquitoes and its larvae is Neem oil, belonging to the Ayurvedic tradition. Neem oil has a very strong and not pleasant scent. It can be mixed with lemon or citronella essential oil to modulate it, and then applied directly to the skin.

The mosquito in particular does not like this odor and is unlikely to approach the treated skin . Neem oil can also be dissolved in the stagnation water of the vessels to prevent or limit mosquito larvae .

Thanks to its antiseptic properties, Neem oil can be mixed with water to be sprayed on the exterior walls of the house, on the porch, on the curtains. The trick is always to add a few drops of citronella, lemon or mint essential oil to make it more enjoyable.
