Reiki and its levels
Reiki is a simple oriental technique that uses a particular type of energy in order to restore health and induce relaxation and well-being. The one who intends to enter this practice and receive healing powers, must overcome a path articulated on several levels. The aspirant is usually offered a basic program that covers the history of Reiki, the theory of energy according to quantum physics and a holistic proposal of vision of the disease.
The main levels of Reiki are essentially three . For each level there are energy activations and harmonizations that can channel the Reiki energy flow to oneself or to other people or things. Let's discover the first level Reiki.
Shoden, the first level Reiki
The first Reiki level is called Shoden and is usually learned in a couple of days. After a process of purification, the adepts receive the Energy from the master . At this level, there are no symbols . It is a level aimed at absorbing pain and healing. To receive the Reiki energy, the adept must wait for the Reiki Master to give it to him. The ceremony is short, but two days must pass before being able to intervene.
Initiation is part of the tradition and is an irreplaceable part of Mikao Usui's Reiki method. Who performs energy treatments without having received these initiations actually limits himself to treating someone or something by personal energy alone. Initiation allows the subject to become an active channel of Energia Reiki. In fact, this harmonizes the personal energy, at the second chakra, with the cosmic chakra, at the seventh chakra. This guarantees a constant supply of cosmic energy to one's channels.
The first level of Reiki allows the practitioner to be able to perform basic treatments originating from a series of hand positions on the patient's body. Added to this is self-treatment, which always takes place with the hands in contact with the body and finally the fast treatment, also called first aid.
After a period of about three months of experience, the practitioner can then decide whether to move to the second Reiki level, or limit himself to the first.
