Properties of the mother dachshund tincture

Eleutherococcus root contains eleuterosides, essential oils, polysaccharides, vit. E, beta-carotene, caffeic acid, isofraxidine . These active ingredients give the plant tonic and adaptogenic properties, able to improve the body's resistance to external attacks and "adapt" it to climate and seasonal changes .

The mother tincture of Eleuterococcus is therefore indicated in states of stress and overwork, in cases of asthenia, convalescence, psycho-physical exhaustion, fatigue, hypotension, and when a greater capacity for performance in sporting activity is required, concentration and memory in the study and during exam preparation .

Description of the plant

Eleutherococcus grows spontaneously in Northeast Asia, Siberia, Mongolia, China, South Korea and Japan. It prefers temperate-cold climates up to 800 meters. Small shrub (1.5-2.5 m.) Perennial, thorny, with light gray or brown bark . The leaves with long petiole are palmate composed of 5 elliptic leaflets, with finely serrated margins and tiny spines along the veins. The flowers are yellow or violet, united with an umbrella near the leaf axil; the fruits are fleshy, black-reddish berries.

Preparation

The "drug" (part used) corresponds to the leaves collected all year round . The fresh plant is used, as it loses most of its properties. The mother tincture of eleuterococco is prepared with a drug weight ratio : solvent of 1: 5 and an alcohol content of 65% vol .

use

The mother tinctures have no contraindications except those of the plant itself, diluted in a little water can be administered to all, the alcohol contained in them is thus diluted, so it is harmless.

Internal use: 30-40 drops in a little water on awakening, in the morning and early afternoon in case of stress, fatigue, intense strain, sexual fatigue, anxiety, states of convalescence, immune deficiency.
