What is rheumatoid arthritis and what it looks like.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a cyclic, inflammatory, acute, chronic, autoimmune, deforming condition, with acute phases interspersed with periods of symptom remission. It causes joint pain and stiffness especially in the morning, the joint appears to be painful at the beginning of the movement; later, with use, the disorders decrease, only to recur after a certain period of use of the joint itself.
The joints are swollen and painful and if the disease is not treated, deformities gradually appear, possibly followed by complete absence of movements (ankylosis).
The affected areas
Arthritis often affects multiple joints simultaneously, particularly the fingers, wrists and tendons. One of its peculiarities is the symmetry of the lesions, for example the two elbows, the two wrists, the two hands and so on. Pain can be very strong when the disease has a high degree of activity.
The recommended food regime
Even if the science is not yet in agreement, it is considered desirable that people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis switch to a vegetarian or vegan diet. A healthy diet made up of organic products and with the lowest possible content of foods rich in saturated fats, milk and dairy products, promote symptoms.
It is advisable to increase the consumption of fruit and vegetables, white meats, fish.
Allopathic treatments (classical medicine)
So far, there have been good results in the short term with cortisone. It was subsequently passed to different drugs, the fans, still used, the problem is that we end up using them not only as drugs to limit inflammations but also as painkillers, in such a way, that we end up using them then in doses always more massive.
Thanks to the drugs there is the possibility of keeping the activity of the disease under control and in some cases achieving complete remission, which does not necessarily mean suspending all the therapies, but simply decreasing the dosages of the drugs.
Pranotherapeutic / Holistic Treatment
In many European countries there are healers, pranotherapists who, by simply applying their hands, are able to alleviate rheumatism and arthritis, we know that rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease for which there are valid therapies to cure it but not to heal her. We have seen that the action of the hands of the therapist can provide relief and over time to significantly reduce the dosage of cortisone, giving these people relief and movement.
