Onion, a natural remedy for earaches

Many grandmothers used onions to relieve earaches. Cut an onion into small pieces, heat it in the microwave or even on a radiator and, once it is hot, but not boiling, wrap it in a cotton cloth and place it on the affected ear for about fifteen minutes.

If you want to use the onion as a poultice against colds, use the same procedure as above but apply the compress on the chest for about half an hour.
