> to moisturize and nourish the skin of the body, apply pure or with the addition of essential oils. With essential oil of sweet orange or other citrus fruits, for example, if you want to counteract water retention or in synergy with myrtle essential oil to promote circulation and protect capillaries;

> to combat swelling in the lower limbs, massages can be performed from the bottom upwards with feet and legs using aloe gel together with mint essential oil, with a refreshing action;

> to moisturise dry, dull and opaque hair, apply the aloe gel with two or three drops of rosemary essential oil over the entire hair and leave it to act for at least thirty minutes, before proceeding with the shampoo;

> in place of hair gel, apply pure aloe gel, shaping your hair with your hands.

We can apply aloe gel :

> with the addition of a few drops of lavender essential oil to soothe itching caused by dermatitis or insect bites ;

> always with lavender essential oil, to calm the redness and burning of the skin due to sun exposure or minor burns ;

> to soothe the skin following epilation or shaving ;

> pure on small wounds or bruises, to speed up the repair of the skin and avoid the formation of stains, especially combined with the essential helichrysum oil .

Aloe vera gel in case of disorders of the skin and mucous membranes

Aloe vera gel is a natural remedy for treating numerous skin disorders . In particular, the aloe vera gel is used for:

> moisturize and repair dry, cracked, irritated or sensitive skin. In this case the aloe gel is left to cool in the refrigerator for a few hours, after which a thick layer is applied to the skin, without massaging and left to work for fifteen minutes before rinsing with warm water;

> purify oily and impure skin or even acne, applying it as a face cream along with a drop of essential tea tree or lavender oil;

> soothe the redness, pain and itching given by the chilblains of hands and feet, adding a drop of lemon essential oil or Salvia sclarea ;

> counteract the formation of dark skin spots on hands and face combined with lemon essential oil;

> cure eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis by applying it to the areas to be treated several times a day;

> cure herpes by adding a drop of tea tree essential oil to the aloe gel;

> resolve gingivitis, applying it pure directly on reddened and inflamed gums and leaving it to act for a few minutes;

> cure hemorrhoids, combined with essential oil of mint, cypress and geranium.

The aloe gel is purchased in herbal medicine, paying attention to the list of ingredients on the label: the gel must be as pure as possible and contain only gelling agent (usually xanthan gum), an eco-organic preservative (eg Potassium sorbate and Sodium benzoate) and citric acid.

From the aloe gel you can also make the juice to drink, to soothe gatrointestinal disorders: it can also be prepared at home by following a few tricks.
