Natural products for shaving beards

Shaving beard with natural products

If we talk about natural products for shaving beard we cannot fail to mention Aleppo soap, a soap made from olive oil and laurel oil, composed exclusively of natural vegetable ingredients and therefore without synthetic additives . Its composition makes it especially indicated for delicate skin or in case of allergies and intolerances to perfumes, alcohol and other additives; obviously, however, it can be used by everyone. Aleppo soap can have a higher or lower percentage of laurel oil; if the skin is particularly delicate, it is advisable to choose one with a low percentage of laurel oil. Alternatively, you can try Nablus soap, made with pure, first pressing olive oil.

Another useful product for shaving beard is nigella soap, which is also completely natural and free of chemical additives. The main ingredient, in this case, is black cumin ; the other component is olive oil; sometimes nigella soap also contains laurel oil; in this case we speak of Aleppo soap with nigella . When used for shaving the beard, this natural soap is also moisturizing and therefore contributes to solving the problem of dry skin .

These natural soaps can be used, in addition to shaving the beard, for the hygiene of the whole body.

Natural products to use after shaving the beard

To fully respect your skin even after shaving you can use natural oils to use as an aftershave, to hydrate and prevent or reduce skin irritation. For this purpose, olive oil, sweet almond oil, shea oil and jojoba oil are useful. Just grease your hands slightly and rub them over your face, especially in areas that tend to crack. To avoid the shiny effect it is advisable, in addition to using a minimum quantity of product, to shave as soon as you first get up, in this way you will get a double benefit: you will not shave off at the risk of cutting yourself, and you will give the time, to these natural oils, to reabsorb well before leaving home. If the greasy effect is much feared, the most advisable oil is that of jojoba, of very rapid absorption.

Other useful natural products after shaving the beard are aloe vera gel and chamomile essential oil . Aloe vera gel helps to soothe redness and burning, as well as to heal small wounds; it also has emollient and refreshing properties; it must be applied in very small quantities, only in the areas concerned.

Chamomile essential oil has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. You need to add 5 or 6 drops in half a glass of water and apply all over your face with the help of a sponge or a cotton pad.
