Origins and description of the Grinberg Method

The founder is Avi Grinberg. The structuring of the theory has gone through his experiences in the world of practical techniques such as massage, body work and somatic therapies.

To develop the qualities of relaxation, calm and concentration, he practiced meditation, yoga and martial arts. He also worked as a paramedic for two years, accumulating experience in the medical field.

He traveled and came into contact with the indigenous healers of the Sinai Bedouin tribes and tribal healers in South America. Through these experiences he acquired a totally different perspective in considering personal care.

In ten years of working in direct contact with people, he believed that in order to treat effectively, people had to be personally involved in their healing and recovery process . He opened the first school of the Grinberg Method in the late 1980s in Israel. His books include: Holistic Reflexology (1989) and Foot Analysis (1993).

His book The fear, pain and other friends (1994) presents the basic concepts of the Grinberg Method and offers practical ways of use in everyday life. The Magician's Call (1998) is his first fiction book.

What is the Grinberg Method for?
