The human essence and the flower essences of Ian White

Veronica Pacella, nutritionist and naturopath biologist, co-operative of indispensable contribution to our portal, informed me that she would go to the Australian Flowers seminar that every year Ian White holds in Italy, on May 31 and June 1 at the Hotel Poiano in Garda (Vr).

It occurs to you to ask a few questions to Ian White in person and we decide to structure the interview that we propose here now exclusively. She gives me her impression of White: "It is available, at hand, simple and direct, at times even appears shy". "The courses - he explains - are conducted in a very calm and harmonious way; they are occasions for meetings between 250 strangers who coordinate between theoretical explanations and practical parts. During the lesson Ian himself suggests stretching exercises ranging from kinesiology to traditional medicine Chinese, from the classic march in place to other movements to reactivate and prevent the lesson from becoming too heavy for the numerous notions discussed. "

We propose this two-voice interview to a great man, whom we define as such because we believe that the measure of greatness lies in humility . Enjoy the reading.

Has the vocation for natural cures always been there or has it come about with illness?

Both things. I grew up with my family that has a long herbal tradition behind it. My father was a pharmacist but also a herbalist, I grew up with his grandmother next door and my great-grandmother was one of the first white people to study local remedies. The great-great-grandmother was another herbalist, who also came to Australia. As a child I spent a lot of time with my grandmother and helped her make extracts and dyes and she explained to me the correspondences between plants and their healing qualities.

Unfortunately she died when I was only 10 years old. I studied science at university and went to India where I got very sick; this led me to work again with natural remedies to rebuild my health. I tried to combine natural healing with my degree in science, I finished my university studies, I was interested in natural therapies and that's why I studied Naturopathy .

Ian White and the development of the Australian Bush Flower Essences Society

Australian essences are a precious tool to give us serenity and well-being, but sometimes pain is a necessary experience. How to understand when it is useful to use Australian flower essences and when it is useful to experience pain as an experience to make us grow?

If a person is stuck in his pain then it is a great time to work with flower essences. We all live in phases in which we are anxious, timid, but if the attitude, instead of being episodic, constitutes a permanent trait of the personality, we can use the essences to rebalance the situation. We all have a loss, it can be the grandfather as a pet can be, we will all have upheavals or sadness sooner or later in life: we can use the essences to take away some of the intensity from this loss. Similarly, if after 3 years we have not yet recovered from the loss of someone, we can still reuse the essences.

How do you see the interest in flower therapy in Italy?

Italy is the main export market we have, we do lessons with 200 people, such as last year with the course on Kinesiology and Australian Flowers, so there is a lot of interest because here people are very emotional and are interested in work on this level. England and Germany are "air" elements, therefore more intellectual, and there is a history in those countries of vibrational medicine. Here, however, more than other European countries, many doctors also embrace this area, probably due to the Latin temperament because Brazil and Argentina also have many medical specialists who use this type of approach.

What are the differences between Bach flowers and Australian flowers?

Australia is the oldest continent, it had the first flowering plants in the world, it has the highest number of plants that bloom and the environment is physically and psychically purer, it has remained as it once was. There have not been the wars that Europe has suffered and therefore the essences prepared with Australian flowers are very strong and very pure. Edward Bach lived about 100 years ago, died in 1936 and from that time society changed dramatically. When there are these changes in society the essences come down to help us face these changes. The essences go well with ADHD, dyslexia, learning problems.

Before people got married and, even in the case of problems within the couple, they remained married: there are essences that help solve various aspects related to the relationship. Among others, the Mulla mulla, for example, helps with electromagnetic radiation and gamma radiation, things that at the time of Bach did not affect people because people were not exposed to this kind of thing.

If the earth changes on a vibrational level, do the qualities of Australian flower essences also change?

Plants absorb all spiritual energy and vibration changes and I think flowers are very important because they help us manage all the changes that occur. The energy of the plant is strengthened because it absorbs all the energy that is used to help us deal with these changes.

Last question: the favorite Australian flower and why

Difficult question, it's like asking the parent what is the favorite child! The Waratah is a very special flower. I think most Australians see it as their favorite flower, it strikes, is very powerful and among the essences is one of those that acts more deeply. I chose it as a logo because it gives strength and courage to people to face the challenges and difficulties that arise in their lives.

The period in which we are seeing is a very intense period where we all have to face many factors: I believe that everyone can benefit from this flower.
