Feng Shui, children and school

With the beginning of the new school year we decided to give you some small Feng Shui suggestions to support your children in the study.

We have already talked about the areas of the house and mentioned the importance of personal directions according to your Kua number. Here we want to remind you briefly that according to Ba Zhai there are 4 favorable and 4 unfavorable directions, both for houses and for people.

This brief introduction will help you to better understand the suggestions in today's article.

Let's start with the placement of the nursery in the house. One of the most important steps, definitely not to be underestimated, is to decide in which sector to organize the space dedicated to children.

Perhaps some of you have already followed the Feng Shui advice and decided to choose for the children's room the one located in one of the four positive areas according to Ba Zhai :

Sheng Qi - Prosperity

Fu Wei - Growth

Nien Yen - Reports

Tien Yi - Health

If you have chosen the growth or health sector for the children's room, you have made the best choice. These 2 sectors, the best for the growth of children, if active, give your children important support in their activities, intellectual development ...

Better yet, if in your home these sectors are strengthened by the influence of the positive energy of flying stars responsible for academic development and personal growth. If you are well supported by the positive influence of the external environment your children will be able to take advantage of excellent support in the study.

Just as the house is divided into sectors, the interior of the room is also divided into sectors (among which are those most suitable for study, play and rest.

It is therefore very important the correct arrangement of the furniture inside the room. It is important to let your child use the most positive spaces for his prolonged activities: desk, like the bed or play area should be in areas with favorable flying star combinations. In this way your child will carry out his activities with the best support of the environment that surrounds him. Remember that it is advisable to position the desk so as to have the wall behind your back to support the child, as well as the bed with the headboard resting against a wall and not directly in front of the entrance door. The less favorable spaces inside the room can instead be used for wardrobes, shelves ...

The furnishing and your arrangement in the child's room is not everything. In organizing the space we must not forget the use of the 5 elements in the furnishing of the room, choosing the suitable shapes, materials and colors, as the personal directions of the child according to your Kua number. So try to choose and place the furniture of the room in order to guarantee your child the use of his favorable directions, among which the best for the study is the direction of growth or that of prosperity. For rest, the best is health, especially if your child is more delicate or prone to cold weather-related ailments; or that of prosperity or relationships to give it support and more security in relationships with friends.

Let the positive Chi flow by changing the air in the room often by opening the windows, keeping it tidy and clean, without clutter accumulations. Try to keep the environment balanced and in harmony between yin (night, rest) and yang (day, play), especially avoiding excessive noise during the study and rest of the child (eg television).
