      The licorice herbal tea has a sedative action on the central nervous system, regulates excess blood sugar and stimulates cerebrospinal fluid. Licorice is an emollient and healing remedy for gastric mucosa, indicated in cases of peptic ulcer. Sit spasms of smooth muscles thanks to the flavonoid component. It carries out antispastic, antioxidant, immunostimulant, hepatoprotective and digestive activity .

      Licorice is indicated in case of gastritis, ulcer, colitis, but also in case of bronchitis with phlegm, cough, bronchial asthma.

        Lemon balm, to calm down

        Lemon balm leaves are the basis of this remedy with multiple properties. Its bark is rich in glycosides that arrive intact to the large intestine where the intestinal bacterial flora activates them; they are anthraquinone glycosides that soften and hydrate the fecal mass, and with the help of frangulin, the active principle of the remedy, the intestinal musculature is given back tone.

          In this way the laxative action is extremely delicate, non-irritating and not drastic. The effect in fact develops over a more diluted period of time than more immediate laxatives, so it can be used with greater tranquility, even if not for extended periods.
