Because we said NO TO NUCLEAR

- Strontium-90 : extremely dangerous radioactive isotope, is fixed in the bones, causes a wide spectrum of pathologies, from anemia to cancer. Physical half-life: 28 years;
- Cesium-137 : the C-137 radionuclides penetrate the human body, are fixed in the muscles, are incorporated in the vital organs with different degrees of intensity. The cells then become dystrophic, necrobiotic changes occur, mainly associated with the perturbation of energy mechanisms. Physical half-life: 30 years.
If these three "defendants" were not sufficiently guilty and guilty, here is the question of the questions: if the management of ordinary urban money waste is limping, how can we think of getting away with the unsolved problem of nuclear waste that remains active for millennia?
It would be better to draw energy from the waste itself, which should however be disposed of, as suggested by the environmental engineer Fabiana Zangheri in the interview on nuclear energy and the well-being of the planet.
The world is moving towards renewable energy sources
Renewable energy sources are an integral part of the planet's economic future. The development of this sector involves almost all the countries of the world and is accompanied by the urgency to find new clean forms of energy. The idea is to break away from fossil sources and find suitable forms of energy production, functional to the well-being of the planet in which we live.
Today as today, renewable energies are solar photovoltaic and wind power, as well as marine, hydroelectric and geothermal energy . The so-called agroenergies are then the energies from biomasses linked to wood chips, vegetable oils, biofuels and gasification.
Renewable energy sources or source of work
The European Union has imposed 20% coverage on renewable energy sources by member states between now and 2020 . This also means that renewable energy sources will provide work. In fact, it is already happening: UNEP has provided a report according to which over the past few years more than 2 million and 300 thousand jobs have been created on a global scale. In the face of some exponents of political parties of the League who are involved in the victory of the referendum, boasting a lack of employment in the face of the repeal of the referendum question concerning nuclear power.
In just 5 years in Germany 170, 000 new "green" jobs have been created. And in Italy? Could the same happen? Greenpeace International, in collaboration with the European Renewable Energy Council, has compiled a detailed report: "Working for the climate green job revolution" . The report shows that 102, 000 jobs can be obtained between renewable energy production and energy efficiency policies in Italy .
