In fact, this is the curcuma dressing, also known by the English name, turmeric dressing. This sauce is ideal for seasoning raw vegetables and salads, but also for flavoring steamed vegetables or other dishes.
Curcuma dressing recipe
Ingredients:
> the juice of an organic lemon ;
> a small piece of fresh grated ginger ;
> a small garlic clove (to taste);
> two teaspoons of turmeric powder or one of grated fresh turmeric ;
> 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil;
> 1 teaspoon of apple vinegar;
> freshly ground black pepper;
> a pinch of whole sea salt .
Preparation
Put all the ingredients in the mixer, blend for a few minutes and, at the end, add salt to taste. Add the sauce thus obtained to your favorite dishes: salads, protein second, steamed or baked vegetables.
Pairings with turmeric dressing
Turmeric dressing is a tasty and quick recipe to prepare, which goes well with many vegetable dishes.
You can also make a more delicate and full-bodied version, using Greek yogurt and eliminating garlic, vinegar and ginger. In this way, a more creamy sauce is obtained which can also be used hot and which also goes well with vegetarian meatballs, baked potatoes, white rice, tagliolini, morsels, kebabs, hamburgers, wraps and more.
