The high content of minerals (in particular phosphorus, copper, magnesium and manganese), proteins (20%) and lipids (40%) make the flax seeds of small precious health pearls.

The properties of flax seeds

Flax seeds, in fact, are among the dietary supplements against constipation, even if they are not to be considered laxatives, but intestinal emollients that regulate motility. In this way the intestine reactivates peristalsis and allows defecation.

Due to this property, flax seeds have a soothing and refreshing effect on the intestinal flora and can also be used for prolonged periods of time without undesirable effects or functional addictions.

The Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are also a valuable contribution to the health of the entire body and a valuable aid for the proper functioning of the immune system.

Flax seeds are often also associated with the health of our hair, in fact there are many products based on linseed such as linseed oil, creams, shampoos.

Here is a do-it-yourself natural cosmetic recipe for dull and brittle hair: soak the linseeds overnight, then cook them for half an hour in the same water over medium heat. Add a few drops of olive oil that will make your pack even more nutritious.

Strain the mixture obtained to remove the seeds, pass it on dry hair and leave for a few minutes. Your hair will return bright and soft!
