Healing properties of blueberries



Blueberries are the fruits of the plant known by the scientific name of Vaccinium Myrtillus of the ericaceae family.

The blueberry grows up to 60 centimeters in shrub form and loves the humus-rich mountain environments. In Italy we find it growing spontaneously in the areas of the Alps and the Apennines and its flowering begins with spring and then bear fruit from the month of August.
