From whom the World Savings Day was invented

World Savings Day is celebrated next October 31st in its 93rd edition, and is linked to the name of an Italian economist, certain Maffeo Pantaleoni .

He was occasionally referred to as " the Italian Marshall " for his fierce defense of laissez-faire economic policy . These proclaimed the Savings Day officially in Milan in 1924, during the 1st International Savings Congress . Since then, on October 31, the day the Congress closed, the official "day of saving" would have been declared in all countries.

Is the act of saving so important? What value does it have today? Apparently, it would make the banks happy, but that's not all. It is understood and has spread, especially in countries like Italy, also as a fundamental basis for the economic education of a country, which governs the use of wealth.

How to celebrate the world savings day

> In fact, the day is under the aegis of Acri - Association of Foundations and Savings Banks. There are several savings institutions such as banks to promote events and initiatives. For example, at bank centers in various cities, competitions are organized for students of primary or secondary schools.
