Make a reinforcing gel for your nails at home

The nail strengthening gel is a cosmetic product that is easy to prepare and very convenient to use because it is absorbed quickly after a short massage. Let's see how to make a reinforcing gel for nails at home using a few natural ingredients.

Strengthening gel for nails, when to use it

The nails are skin appendages composed of cells rich in keratin, whose function is to protect the end of the fingers and help to have a better grip.

Like any tissue or organ in our body, even the nails suffer from our lifestyle and the nutrition we follow: nutritional deficiencies, for example, affect the entire body, including the nails.

So if the diet does not provide an adequate supply of vitamins and minerals, the nails may appear more fragile and weak and break easily, or they may undergo changes in color or structure, then become opaque or present areas with whitish streaks or with a shape irregular.

A balanced diet is therefore the first step to have strong and good looking nails.

Other factors that can affect the beauty and health of our nails come from the outside; the fact that the nails are hard can make us think that they do not have exchanges with the external environment, but it is not so.

The nails are in fact porous enough to be affected by the use of enamels, solvents and other cosmetic products, as well as detergents and household detergents.

To have strong and beautiful nails we must therefore pay attention during house cleaning and wear protective gloves and carefully choose the cosmetics and treatments that we apply directly on the nails.

If after using a detergent or a cosmetic for nails we have brittle nails, which break easily, opaque or otherwise damaged, we can apply on them specific products for nails such as DIY reinforcing gel, to make sure that come back beautiful and healthy as quickly as possible.
