Packs and tablets: natural remedies that work

Natural remedies often date back to folk medicine from various parts of the world.

Some vary from area to area, while others have spread indiscriminately and with few variations in different and distant regions.

A natural remedy uses what nature makes available to rebalance conditions in which the individual's well-being fails.

Depending on the region you are in, there are several natural remedies, based on herbs, extracts and essential oils.

Even air, light, and water are natural remedies, cheap, available and accessible to everyone who knows how to exploit the magical healing properties.

The disease is a state of inner imbalance that is manifested externally with the various symptoms of which it is composed .

The natural remedy is a useful support for healing, which naturally stimulates the body to regain its optimal function and find the recipe for good health.

The packs and tablets can be made with cold water .

The body's reaction to cold water is to cool and disinfect the part, but also to draw heat in areas where the circulation is stagnated, or to disperse heat.

Cold packs and compresses: important notes

Our body is no longer used to temperatures that are too cold or too hot.

In winter we cover ourselves to an incredible extent, and in summer we often abuse air conditioners and fans.

It is therefore important to keep in mind some tricks, so that the compresses and tablets with cold water work in the best way.

These natural remedies must be performed only in warm and well-heated environments, they must not be performed on cold skin and after each application it is absolutely necessary to dry the part on which the compress or compress has been made, and cover it and warm it with clothes, or through movement or through massages.

Never leave the compress or the tablet in place after the time when they become hot and reach the temperature of the body or the surrounding environment.

To work, the compresses and the compresses must be applied cold and for a short time, to alternate the temperatures and give way to the body to react.

Stimulating cold packs

Stimulating cold packs can be applied to the lumbar area, chest, abdomen and calves .

The cold pack in the lumbar area supports digestion and evacuation, in cases of constipation, fever due to intestinal fermentation, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia and in cases of hot flashes due to menopause.

Warm the part that goes from the mid back to the buttocks with a blanket or a woolen garment . Once hot, quickly apply a linen cloth immersed in cold water and wrung out.

Cover the part again with the blanket or the garment, and leave for about 20-30 minutes, but never over the heating of the cloth. After which the wet cloth is removed quickly, the part is dried and it remains at rest, always well covered and warm.

The compress on the abdomen allows to heat the whole body . Apply a wet but well-wrung piece on the abdomen and cover with a woolen garment or a blanket. It is left on for 10 minutes, after which it is removed and covered and kept warm.

The wrap on the chest area is useful in case of particular weakness of the pulmonary apparatus, cough and chest pain. It is prepared and used as a compress on the lumbar area, but the times are shortened: it must not be left on for more than 10 minutes. It should not be used in cases of fever, pneumonia and acute respiratory tract disorders.

The calf wrap is an excellent remedy to disperse internal heat towards the extremities .

The image of the fever sufferer with ice on the forehead is a common image: this is not very useful for the dispersion of the temperature, because it brings up the symptoms of fever against the head and makes it worse.

Making ice packs in the calves allows you to quickly lower the temperature, and is also useful in treating children's fevers.

The wrap is prepared with a cotton and linen cloth immersed in frozen and well-wrung water, and applied to the calves, cooling it and changing it whenever the temperature of the same rises. It keeps the body warm and well covered.

Salt water tablet

The salt water tablet is an excellent pain reliever in case of joint pain and neck contractures. The salt water tablet keeps the temperature longer.

Two tablespoons of salt are dissolved in a liter of water . A cotton or linen cloth is soaked, squeezed, and folded several times until it becomes as big as a handkerchief.

It is left to rest in the freezer for 8 hours . Once removed from the freezer it wraps itself in a bag of water and is used on the painful joint or on the cervical area in the event of a witch's blow.

Pay attention that it does not feel too cold and that it does not extend to the rest of the body beyond the affected area . Keep the body warm and apply the tablet for a maximum of 10 minutes. If necessary, take a break and repeat after half an hour.
