Stonebreaker Properties
The main advantage of the stone breaker is to eliminate all the obstructions that can form in the urinary tract, completely destroying the stones.
In addition to the property of "breaking" the stones, as its name indicates, this herb has many other properties. The stonecutter grass, in fact:
- Reduces inflammation and spasms
- Calm the pain
- Reduces fever (but not recommended for children under 5)
- It is slightly laxative
- Protects and purifies the liver
- Eliminates viruses, bacteria and intestinal worms
- It increases urination and is a powerful diuretic (useful in case of renal insufficiency)
- Reduces blood pressure,
- Regulates blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
- Improves digestion.
Method of use
The stonebreaker is used for its ability to dissolve or eliminate stones, both of the kidneys and the bladder.
The whole plant is used, since both the stem and the flowers, the roots and the fruits have medicinal properties. To make this product an excellent remedy against the formation of kidney stones, it is advisable to follow the correct indications for the preparation of an herbal tea .
It should be drunk three times each day (before meals) and should be prepared with a quantity equal to a glass of water for each teaspoon of stone breaker.
We recommend taking the herbal tea as a remedy against the formation of kidney stones, for a limited time of 6 consecutive days.

Contraindications of stone breaker grass
The stonecutter does not present any contraindication if it is taken respecting the normal therapeutic doses, except, of course, for the cases of individual hypersensitivity.
Description of the plant
The Cedracca or Cetracca ( Ceterach officinarum ) is also known as " grass rust" or "spaccapietra grass", because it is often found among the stones of the cliffs that shatters slowly.
It is part of the Aspleniaceae family. It is a small fern that reaches 15/20 cm in height, with leaves arranged in a rosette with a linear and lanceolate shape. On the lower page, the leaves contain the sporangia called sori, similar in shape and size to lentils, which at maturity take on a brown / reddish color, hence the vulgar name of Erba rust.
The sori contain the spores that falling on the ground will give birth to new ferns.
Sorrel habitat
The stonecutter grows on old dry stone walls and on rocks in wet, sunny and calcareous areas. It is currently widespread in Mediterranean environments and blooms from May until August.
Background
In the past the stonebreaker was used to stuff the pillows as it was believed that it had the property of letting go pain and graces.
