The tamanù oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the cold pressing of the dried fruit of the Calophyllum inophyllum tree .

The tamanù is used in all its parts, mallo, leaves, and wood, but it is the oil extracted from the fruit that has important antibacterial, antimirobic and anti-inflammatory properties, in addition to being antineuralgic and antioxidant.

Used for the fight against free radicals and against skin disorders, tamanù oil is also useful in the case of sciatica, muscle pain and rheumatism
