SANA 2011: how, where, when (and why)
Sana is called a healthy person. SANA is also the international exhibition of natural products, now in its 23rd edition .
23 editions are a significant number. Editions that have allowed this country to reach a certain awareness with respect to the man-earth bond, which has now become almost an urgency, given the internal drama of climatic variations and the sense of incomprehensible lethality that rests in the way we are doing harm to the Earth .
SANA 2011, as in previous editions, takes place at the Bolognafiere center , this year on days ranging from 8 to 11 September. We remind you that the SANA portal is bilingual, English and Italian, and provides detailed information for those who are or want to become exhibitors at SANA, as well as information for SANA visitors.
SANA 2011: this year's seminars
In 23 editions SANA has become a professional fair, the true meeting point of the biological and natural world. According to many, the initiative is taking a purely commercial turn. Only partially true, because there are still so many opportunities for further study.
We advise you to take from the immense salon what you need to grow as a person . Browse through certified organic and natural products based on medicinal herbs, organic foods, crystals, essences; move from stand to stand, talk to the producers, attend conferences, meet other people who, like you, are making a journey of life and intent close to the concept of "natural".
Consult the daily agenda of the SANA 2011 conferences: among the appointments, we signal to those who practice the profession of herbalist the appointment of September 8 "The herbalist technician: a profession to be invented" (Meeting Room Spazio Officinale, 14.30-17.30) and that of September 10 "The showcase: visiting card of the herbalist" (lecture by Maria Angela Polesana, professor of Brand Lab and Business Communication, IULM University, Milan, Meeting Space Area, 10.00-12.00).
If you have a tapered and generous green thumb, on September 9th do not miss "Organic ideas to treat the green around us" organized by the Emilia Romagna Region (Emilia Romagna region Arena, 10.30-13.00) and September 10 "Orto in città and e urban ecology " (Arena Regione Emilia Romagna, 10.00-13.00).
For those who love Bacchus, on 11 September at 11.00 am and until 1.00 pm "Natural, organic and biodynamic wines: yesterday, today and tomorrow" : organized by the International Academy of Enogastronomy Sommeliers (AIES) ... we will reveal that at the end it will follow a guided wine tasting.

Among the novelties of this year's edition :
In the Food Sector only companies with certified organic production will be present.
Communication in the natural sector: SANA Award Wellness and Bravo Bio
From this year the SANA organizes two different prizes: the SANA Awards and Bravo Bio.
The SANA Benessere Award was created with the aim of highlighting herbalists who, by demonstrating their ability to innovate, have intercepted this turning point and have equipped themselves to face the new demand. The location of the selected herbalists is scheduled for Sunday 11 September at the Biological Hall (Pad.34) at 10.30.
Bravo Bio is the awarding for Biofriendly premises. The editorial offices of Restaurants. Imprese del Gusto, Bargiornale, Pianetahotel and the experts of Bar University will select and evaluate the applications after an anonymous visit. The finalist companies will be invited to deliver the Local Bravo Bio certificates to be held at SANA 2011.
