Headache in children
Headache in children is a more frequent problem than people think, especially in school age. According to some statistics it appears, in fact, that about 25% -30% of children report having had at least one episode of headache during the school year.
But what are the remedies for headaches in children ?
To find the remedy one must first look for the cause; in fact, there are different types of headaches. The first distinction to be made is between primary headache and secondary headache . The first form of headache is related to a constitutional predisposition; in the case of secondary headaches, instead, it is the symptom of an underlying condition that must be identified and then cured.
The causes of secondary headaches can be many and of varying severity: vision disorders, problems with teeth and jaws, upper airway infections, traumas or more serious pathologies. In general, however, it is rare that the cause is a serious illness; it is much more frequent that it is sinusitis, flu and parainfluenza syndromes, myopia, or even simple fatigue.
