The World Vegan Day, the vegan world day, is coming: vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, fruitarians or raw foodists from all over the world, are you ready to celebrate it in a dignified and respectful way? Here are some ideas, some recipes and some essential appointments to make this day fantastically memorable for everyone, above all animals.
Today in the world there are more and more people who embrace veganism as a lifestyle, a food choice, but not only, which is based on absolutely cruelty free foundations.
Eurispes data in hand: in 2016 only in Italy were vegans 1% of the population, while now it has reached 3%. Historical detail: the day was established in 1994 by Louis Wallis, with the aim of celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of the Vegan Society .
Vegan appointments in the main Italian cities
> Rome: Animal Equality will be present with an Information Table in Rome - Piazza del Popolo - from 11am to 7pm. Those wishing to interact with animals rescued from critical situations can participate in the celebration of World Day which will always be held Wednesday, November 1 by Lav Rome at the Greenplace refuge in Nepi from 10.30 to 18.00.
> Florence: from 31 October to 1 November the Vegandayfirenze2017 takes place on the premises of the Buontalenti Hotel Institute. In addition there will be meetings, conferences, stands and workshops for children organized by various associations.
> Milan: the Lombard capital hosts the " MiVeg ", conferences, workshops, cooking classes, debates, screenings, shows and activities for children, a vegan two days dedicated to this philosophy, here is the program.
> Padua: Vegan Days, a meeting at the fair rich in information stands, meetings, conferences and moments of tasting, balancing ethics, health and well-being. The third edition of the event will take place on Saturday 25, Sunday 26 and Monday 27.
