It is important to understand that our mind always works and ceaselessly to guarantee our survival. We have evolved and even our most recent part of the brain has reached incredible levels, but the fact remains that the ultimate goal has remained the same: to keep us alive. For this reason, changing habits is difficult: for the brain it is a potential threat because everything that is new and therefore not known represents a potential danger. Still for survival reasons, each of us has a very detailed image of himself within us, at a very deep level. Very often we are not aware of it but it also happens that sometimes we reveal the characteristics when we use sentences for example. as: "it is not for me", "it is not in my nature", "I am not fit" .. etc.

In fact, we have a definition and an image of ourselves that determines every aspect of our life, very often without being aware of it. If for some reason you have an image of yourself as a lazy person and with a few extra pounds, you will hardly lose weight. And not necessarily because you are wrong, but simply because your goal will be at odds with the image you have of yourself. So the first thing to do is to become aware of this image: how it looks at your life: if you have never done sports, you are likely to consider yourself a sedentary person. But this is just your belief! You can change it whenever you want. The fact that you can think yourself lazy doesn't mean you really are! We always forget how easy it can be to change one's life for the better. We have an idea of ​​ourselves and we think that this is Reality but it is, in fact, only a thought we have.

1. Don't be in a hurry: the best results are obtained slowly, gradually.

2. Keep a food diary, listing what you eat, its mood, whether you are moving and weigh once a week .... it will become your best ally.

3. Instead of thinking about the pounds that are missing, rejoice for those already lost. Goals count ...

4. Avoid too complicated dishes. those who love being in the kitchen can find themselves displaced in front of diets that propose complex and laborious recipes. yes to simple and seasonal dishes.

5. Abolish boredom. A diet that always proposes the same dishes is an obsessive diet, rigid and above all destined to fail. Focus on variety, offering tasty dishes.

6. Even when the results are slow to arrive, it is essential to maintain the certainty that the efforts made will still be rewarded: in this way we relax, we reduce anxiety ... and the balance needle starts to go down.

7. Face problems instead of ignoring them. if in spite of your efforts food and diet continue to be an obsession, do not neglect the situation: review your relationship with food by having a valid expert help you.
