Bach flowers according to the personality, to get inspiration

The basis of the efficacy of Bach flowers is the brilliant intuition of E. Bach that "the emotional state of the person who is uncomfortable is important, whatever the illness he suffers from. From which it follows that, considering his emotional state, his mind, his psyche ... in it lies the root of the disease "If the mind is rebalanced then the body improves accordingly. For this purpose the right combination of flowers is chosen and the balance is achieved.

This is the most usual way to use Bach flowers but there is also another way to use them, which is not so much tied to the temporary state of mind in which we find ourselves, for which we need for example, Holly or Beech or Agrimony, but instead regards the intake of the flower related to our personality.

Personality can be defined as the set of psychic characteristics and behavior patterns of a person who, in their integration, create the inflexible core of an individual. Even with the change that each of us, more or less, realizes in our lives, there always remains a personal internal tendency towards a certain pattern, a defined reactive mode. There are those who, for example, get excited easily, if they are convinced of one thing, which instead never takes a position in life, perhaps not because of fear, but rather because each point of view is genuinely plausible, who still has a tendency to easily close your heart if you think you have been wronged etc. Here, in the attempts that are always made to improve oneself, especially with the age and the facts of life, this tendency remains invariably, which we could also define with the word "character".

We can then consider the different remedies of Bach, which describe particular moods, such as character tendencies and take on the flower of our personality, even once in life, to draw from it a true inspiration. In this case the flower should not be chosen because we are in a moment of need, so we say of emergency and we feel that it corresponds to our state of mind, but instead it must be taken at a time when we are fairly centered, in a relative balance, in order to be able to do a profound work on ourselves.

If we take the flower in this mode we can have effects such as: increase our intuition in life, feel more comfortable with ourselves, have dreams of great significance, very clear and sharp that we remember, even if we are that kind of people, who usually they don't remember dreams. Therefore, in this case it is not a real therapy, but rather an effective tool for growth. The choice of the flower is obviously very important, that is it must be well chosen and, if usually the help of a therapist is optional, in the care with flowers, in the sense that you can use and choose flowers even alone, here, in the case of the flower of the personality, the help of the therapist becomes mandatory. In fact the most common case is to choose oneself as one's own flower, in the list of those close to us, that we would like to be more and not what we actually are, with a consequent bankruptcy result.

Linked to this topic, of the flower of personality, there is also that of the personality of our parents, that is, the flower of the mother and father . After having taken our flower for once in a lifetime, another opportunity for growth is given by taking the flower of the mother and father, in this sequence, separately. In fact, given the influence that parents, with their character, unquestionably have on their children, this practice helps the individual to distinguish what is his, fruit of his sack, and what instead derives from his mother. It can be a certain way of speaking, or a certain aversion to something, or a particular attitude towards something else.

If, for example, we had a mother < impatiens >, whom we often saw in a hurry, perhaps intolerant, often irritable and not inclined to the slow pace of others, we certainly also inherited this attitude or, in any case, we consider it normal, because it's inside our DNA. Taking the Bach flower < impatiens >, we become aware of this side of ourselves and of the fact that it comes from our mother, we manage to balance it and above all to appreciate its positive aspects of autonomy, sharpness, intelligence and practicality. The individual's awareness of these inherited traits is then expanded and, at the same time, there is a process of recognition and gratitude towards the mother.

It is part of the normal, physiological process of individual growth, from adolescence onwards, to learn to distinguish the ways, the preferences, the rhythms we have inherited, from what we really are. Here, assuming the flowers of the parents, this process is deepened and made more complete. Considering the difficulty one has in making things clear to us, so that this process usually lasts well beyond adolescence, up to the mature age, an important advantage follows.
