As for, instead, natural remedies against sore throats, there are some, as simple as they are effective:

Honey . Thanks to its antiseptic, expectorant and sedative properties it is a good remedy against sore throats. It can be used both to sweeten hot drinks, for example milk and herbal tea, and in purity. It can be used in combination with propolis.

Propolis . You can add it to a teaspoon of honey, or put it directly on the tongue. In both cases, two or three drops are enough. Propolis has anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties.

Herbal tea with ginger and cinnamon : cinnamon is a well-known remedy of the grandmother against sore throat and cough ; ginger, on the other hand, has anti-inflammatory and anti-flu properties. You could try offering children an herbal tea made with ginger and cinnamon, sweetened with a teaspoon of honey. A piece of cinnamon and a sprinkling of ginger are enough. Bring a cup of water to the boil, add a piece of cinnamon and boil for about three minutes, grate some ginger and cover. Serve after 3/5 minutes with a teaspoon of honey. If desired, two or three cloves can also be added to the infusion.

Of course, the taste may not be pleasing to children, but, as the saying goes, trying not harm.
