The smart remote green thumb jar

An intelligent vase that allows you to wet your plants with an App from your smartphone? Incredible, it really exists!

Fans of domestic greenery and indoor jungle, here is your dream come true: a smart vase that bathes the plants for you when you're on vacation or you're not at home!

Now you can forget about tricks with plastic bottles, the method of communicating jars, or packs of gel water bought at the last second.

This is why the green thumb at a distance becomes possible thanks to the technology applied to the domestic green, a technology that in this case takes the name of Parrot Pot, a special vase that contains in itself a reserve of just over two liters of water and is equipped with sensors and bluetooth.

No more dry plants on the way back!

The application website says: today there is a smart vessel called Parrot Pot, equipped with four special sensors that capture sunlight, humidity, fertilizer and temperature; these four data are then collected and sent to the Parrot Cloud, which processes them in specific algorithms and after a few cycles, the Parrot Pot manages to understand its needs and automatically regulates water consumption.

At a distance you will then be in charge of the application that will allow the vase to activate to let the water drip from small fountains placed at the edges of the vase itself.

On the market there are the Light Pot led lamp to grow a small vegetable garden at home; Click & Grow, a special pot containing specially designed soil rich in nutrients to hold and sprout aromatic plants or similar; or Clairy, the intelligent vessel that purifies the air.

The App-Gardener and the costs

The application that belongs to this intelligent vessel is called Parrot Flower Power and not only does it serve to manage the needs of the plant, controlling water, light and fertilizer, but it also acts as an assistant gardener.

It contains an encyclopedia of 8 thousand plants with useful tips, information and much more. This big jar is available on the market at a cost of around 150 euros, with a free app for iOS and Android. Made of plastic, the product weighs about a pound and a half.

Here is the video of how the Parrot Pot works and its application.

Curiosity: always for those who love nature and animals, there is also the videocamerica for dogs that launches crunchies and the robot lamp that produces natural light, which brings the sun's rays even to the darkest corners of the house!
