Edward Bach, father of flower therapy, was a doctor and immunologist of great fame at the beginning of the last century. Many of us know his story. But very few are those who know its most intimate, truer aspects.
Only a fraction of his studies, his discoveries (not only in terms of flower therapy) have been made known. Many of his writings have been destroyed or concealed by his own will. The seasons are many and perhaps no one really knows them at the bottom.
The fact is that his research on flower therapy and soul problems have not been well seen for decades and, in some circles, they are not even today.
Thus, in order to avoid discrediting his work and memory, those who knew (and those who know), are careful not to spread what Bach himself decided to keep secret, or in any case be used by very few.
There are many posthumous studies carried out by doctors, naturopaths and psychologists all over the world regarding his discoveries and his "therapeutic" indications on the use of flower essences .
We do not want to treat them all here, but without a doubt, among the most widespread searches, we find the one that relates the 12 Healers to the 12 Zodiac signs .
When we speak of "healing" here, it must be emphasized that it is a healing of the soul (or state of consciousness, or spirit, or inner nature, or higher self ...).
In essence, that inner and profound dimension of us which, although not visible to the human eye, although not tangible from a human hand, embodies the characteristics that make us what we are at three hundred and sixty degrees.
Each of us calls or identifies this dimension as we like, with names he has always known, that come from the environment or from the family, from the place and time in which it is born and grows. The fact remains that this dimension is as alive in us as our body is. Or our mind.
This refers to the healing in the field of Bach flower care (and deliberately we do not mention other methods. Not sure why they do not produce effects, but simply to pay homage to Bach, who gave the way to this wonderful method).
Now, those who support and use floritherapy are now widespread but never as popular in certain circles of barony and freemasonry at the time when Bach studied its principles and effectiveness, are easy to animism. Telling a person or a method of animism in a society devoted to materialism and the prevailing dualism takes on a negative meaning, it means to mark it in focus, at best with the V of visionary.
And this is only because the soul cannot be touched. Because that dimension is not seen, no one studies with instruments organized and approved by the science of Cartesian memory.
And yet, without disturbing too inflated terms such as "vibrations", "energy", "flow", the perception of the soul takes place in that very body which should instead be its executioner. A muscle tension, a yawn, a chill or sudden sweat, a panic attack, a sudden desire to cry or sing, are the means by which that dimension asks to be heard, asks to be re-integrated. That it then passes through a system, the nervous one, widely inspected but still obscure and uses it as a filter, as a means of communication, this is another topic.
To go back to the 12 Healers and to astrology, even if only superficially reading the definitions "for infants" given by Bach himself, it is clear that his studies on the Fiori-Segni link was much more thorough than we know. Kramer himself, in his numerous writings and years of study and research, has made it a foundation in his therapeutic method.
But how to identify the flower? What to watch of the birth chart? For me, the position of the Moon in the first place. Because it is the Moon that represents our shadow aspect, our emotional layer. Then, wanting to be more precise, we check the position of Mercury (planet, among other things, connected to the way of communicating) and of course we can match it with Sun and Ascendant (to have a more precise picture).
Here are the parallels
Aries - Impatient - Impatiens (too easy, right?)
Taurus - Doubtful, easy to get discouraged (we're talking about soul, intimate, aspect in the shadows)
Gemini - easy to contempt, asking for confirmation in the evaluation of others - Cerato
Cancer - Easy to travel in a world of its own, to be indifferent to reality - Clematis
Leone - always on the prowl, always on the verge of excitement - Vervain
Virgin - in search of the perfect and of the order, of a weak soul - Centaury
Libra - indecision is a pillar - Scleranthus
Scorpio - always extremely worried about having control - Chicory
Sagittarius - in constant mental strain and worried about hitting the target - Agrimony
Capricorn - although a great climber, he is very fearful and introverted - Mimulus
Aquarius - nourished by that sense of non-belonging ... - Water Violet
Pisces - that substrate of terror of not being loved, of not being able to cure ... - Rock Rose
But here we are only on the surface, of course. That of the soul is a world to be explored and who knows if Bach has managed to understand it thoroughly!
