> 75 grams of olive oil

> 10 grams of beeswax or mimosa hunt

> 10 drops of geranium essential oil

Method

Add the beeswax or mimosa wax to the olive oil and heat in a bain-marie until the wax is completely dissolved. Pour everything into a sterile container with a lid and let it cool for a minute, stirring. Add the geranium essential oil, stir again and close the container.

Let it cool completely before using the product; at the time of use, apply to the face with a cotton pad or a sponge to remove makeup, then dab the skin with a gentle alcohol-free tonic.

Rice oil against skin redness

Skin irritated by cold, wind or temperature fluctuations may present widespread redness, especially on the face.

Rice oil is an oil rich in phytosterols which give it calming and soothing properties for the skin ; furthermore, rice oil protects the epidermis from oxidative stress, prevents skin aging and helps reactivate microcirculation.

Rice oil is indicated in case of irritated and damaged skin due to atmospheric agents or after depilation and is used pure or mixed with other vegetable oils or essential oils.

Thanks to its ability to soften the skin without greasing, rice oil is particularly suitable for preparing an emollient serum for irritated skin, to be used in case of skin redness.

Ingredients

> 200 ml of rice oil

> 20 drops of Ladan essential oil

Method

Transfer the rice oil into a dark glass bottle and add the essential oil of ladano ( Cistus ladaniferus ). Shake lightly and keep away from light and heat. Apply to face or body, massaging until completely absorbed.

Jojoba oil mask for irritated skin

Jojoba oil is a liquid vegetable wax known for its curative and calming action on the skin, therefore suitable in case of irritated skin due to the cold.

It also prevents skin dryness because it protects from dehydration by limiting the loss of water from skin cells.

Jojoba oil is a nourishing, emollient and anti-aging oil that is particularly suitable for combination and oily skin but is also suitable for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin.

It can be used as a massage oil for the body, as a make-up remover for the face, as an alternative to the day cream for all skin types or even to make nourishing and emollient masks suitable for irritated skin.

Ingredients

> a tablespoon of coconut milk

> a teaspoon of jojoba oil

> a teaspoon of cornstarch

> a drop of chamomile essential oil

Method

In a bowl, mix together the coconut milk, jojoba oil and cornstarch until you get a smooth and homogeneous cream. If the mixture appears too liquid, add corn starch; on the contrary, increase the amount of coconut milk. Once the desired consistency is obtained, add the essential oil of chamomile.

Apply the mask on the face and neck and leave on for about fifteen minutes. Rinse the mask with warm water.

Repeat the mask once or twice a week to soften the skin and prevent the skin from "pulling".
