Bring relaxation into everyday life

Holidays don't last long ; the rest of the year we are inundated with work, commitments, various tasks ...

We should learn to carve out a few moments of relaxation even in everyday life, getting used to bringing at least a little bit of vacation into everyday life. Move the point of view, the order of priorities; learn to love and pamper yourself .

Yes: but how?

Go sightseeing in your home

How many times do you make a trip out of town, visit a museum, go and discover a place a stone's throw from your house? Holiday is not necessarily going far.

Of course, in some places it is easier than in others, but everywhere you can carve out a few hours of leisure and relaxation to go and discover a nearby village; take a walk by the sea, in the mountains, in the countryside or by the lake, according to what the area offers; visit an exhibition or a craftsman's workshop .

The sense is to detach, to deviate from one's own binding commitments, to do something pleasant, to relax.

Turn off the PC; and even the smartphone and the tablet

Do you ever try to turn everything off and really detach yourself from PC, tablet and smartphone? Sometimes we are constantly glued to the screen, even on vacation; it is a bad habit, which does not promote relaxation.

A few hours without a monitor can be terribly relaxing . At least once in a while, try taking a walk in a place you like without carrying any electronic devices.

Don't shoot, don't share, don't look at everything through a camera filter . Enjoy the moment, alone or with one or more people you love.

If you try it once, it will probably become a healthy antistress habit, if not daily, at least frequently.

Get more sleep

Often, we sleep too little and, unfortunately, most of the time it does not depend only on us. I am thinking, for example, of parents with young children, whose sleep is frequently interrupted by the screams of their babies; or workers who work night shifts. However, in many cases, we can do something to sleep at least a little more.

Consider that an adult should sleep seven to eight hours a night. And ... if you want to carve out a moment of true relaxation, at least on the weekend, take an hour or so for a nice afternoon nap.

Dedicate yourself to good weather

Everyday life is full of things to do. We always have one: a job to do, a meal to prepare, the expense to organize, a washing machine to do, something to clean ...

Bringing some relaxation into everyday life also means taking a moment, carving out a space to do something pleasant ; if you have a hobby, cultivate it, but spend some time even for much simpler things: a chat with a friend, an interesting reading, a session with a beautician, a bike ride ...

Start the day with a good breakfast

On vacation we spend more time on average for breakfast, especially if we stay at the hotel. Then, back home, run coffee and go.

With a bit of organization, you can have breakfast with calm, pampering yourself with various and mouth-watering products (always with an eye to health, though!) Even in everyday life.

It will help you to start more serene and give your day a different sprint.
